The O’ Crowley family has owned this characterful bar and restaurant since 1978. An Súgán has always been a friendly, well run place, and although it can be very busy at times, their reputation for good food is well deserved.
All the fresh fish and seafood is locally sourced from Union Hall, Castletownbere and Dingle. The salmon is farmed in Donegal. An Súgán also serve great succulent steaks and roasts, which come with delicious local potatoes and seasonal vegetables. A variety of decadent desserts using their own recipes are all made in house. The sticky toffee pudding, apple pie and bread and butter pudding have all become house favourites.
The Súgán Restaurant is closed on Mondays.
