Mid-way on the Wild Atlantic Way The Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark is a stunning destination with an astonishing landscape steeped in history. It's a destination brimming with activities, attractions, culture and excellent food.

The Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark has a lot to offer its curious visitor, with over 20 different activities and pursuits available which cater for those looking for a rush of adrenaline to those looking to discover the secrets of the landscape in a more leisurely fashion. The Burren outdoor adventure and activity trail includes activities from hiking and biking to surfing and kayaking to walking and foraging.

The Burren Food Trail is a unique opportunity for visitors to this spectacular region to uncover the secrets behind its superb award-winning artisan food products and producers. Highlights on the food trail include award-winning chef-led restaurants and tours of the artisan producers’ facilities with demonstrations of the processes they use.

There are a number of attractions to suit many interests from the magnificent Cliffs of Moher to the equally impressive stalactite at Doolin cave. There is also a perfumery and a smokehouse. Alternatively, for those interested in heritage, history and geology, there are 9 geosites including Poulnabrone portal tomb, Carron turlough and the Lisdoonvarna spa wells.
