Sean Dunne Literary Weekend 2025

This Literary Event is held annually in the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens to celebrate the life and writings of the late Waterford Poet, Sean Dunne. It will consist of a Book Launch, Talks, Gathering of Writers, Open Mic and Panel Discussion.

Join us in the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens, Tramore from the 13th to the 15th June 2025 to celebrate the life and writings of the late Waterford Poet, Sean Dunne.

On Friday evening there will be a welcome evening and the launch of The Waxed Lemon Magazine with readings and music.

On Saturday, there will be a Haiku Workshop (morning) and Kaiku Workshop (evening) with Gilles Fabres. Early afternoon Waterford Poet Mark Roper will talk about Sean Dunne's works and this will be followed by 'The Gathering of Writers and Writers Group with an Open Mic'.

On Sunday the Poetry Lounge will host a Panel Discussion with Family and Friends of the late Sean Dunne. Many events are free or normal Garden Entry will apply. Check website for more details.
