Dark wood features, cushioned bench settees, open fires, stained and leaded glass windows create a traditional mood. Various informative, fish identification and other nautical charts, set a decidedly sporting mood along with a selection of local sketches, relevant bric a brac and photographs of various land marks and boating crafts further adorns the walls throughout the premises.
Food also plays a very important part in Cronin’s Sheebeen with an extensive offering of exotic seafood and other dishes that are elaborate in taste and presentation. The menu proffers such delicacies as fresh Clew Bay lobster, fish pie, lemon sole and seared swordfish (when available) amongst others.
Each and every dish is fastidiously prepared from the head chefs own innovative recipes. The head chef oversees all aspects of all catering in Cronin’s Sheebeen and insists that only choice fresh quality produce is used at all times. Specials are served each evening also.
