Fíodóir or weaver Lisbeth Mulcahy's The Weaver's Shop in Dingle County Kerry displays her stylish designs in woven scarves, throws and table linen together with her handwoven wall hangings and unique, woven tapestries.

Lisbeth Mulcahy, a fíodóir, or weaver in English, owns The Weaver's Shop in Dingle, County Kerry which displays her stylish designs in woven scarves, throws and table linen together with her handwoven wall hangings and unique, woven tapestries.

Lisbeth, who is originally from Denmark, designs all the woven goods on sale in the shop, where she employs one or two other weavers to make all the wall hangings on display, while her scarves, throws, and table linen are made by a friend of hers, a commercial commission weaver. She, herself, makes the unique tapestries.

The shop's three looms are in constant use. One is in the main shop beside the counter, while two are in the weaving room beside the upstairs showroom.

The shop also stocks Lisbeth's husband Louis Mulcahy's pottery as well as a selection of knitwear, leather, candles, cards and handmade soaps - all by Irish designer/makers.
