Louis Mulcahy makes incredible Irish craft pottery in his studio on the Dingle Peninsula in Clogher, County Kerry. Stop by the workshop to pick up a gift, or head on the studio tour and learn a new skill.

As you journey the Dingle Slea Head Route along the Wild Atlantic Way, stop at the workshop and showroom of one of Ireland’s most celebrated potters, Louis Mulcahy. Louis Mulcahy Pottery, nestled at the foot of a mountain and overlooking the wild Atlantic of Clogher Strand, has been built up over forty years and is renowned worldwide.

Here you will find thousands of exquisite pieces designed and made on site by Louis, along with his team. Each piece reflects the picturesque surroundings of the Dingle Peninsula, inspired by the blue of the sea, the browns of the hillside speckled with purple heather, and the roaring red sunsets. Louis’ large vases, urns, bowls, lamps, masks and druid figures present a unique collection that will appeal to discerning buyers. For a truly special gift, take part in the Pottery Experience where expert potters guide you through the process of throwing and glazing your own pot.

The showroom is open daily throughout the year. His online shop carries the full range of giftware, tableware, lamps and shades with shipping worldwide available.
