The Everyman seasonal programmes offer a diverse range of shows, including gems of touring theatre, comedy, opera, music, dance and family friendly shows. The theatre has welcomed companies such as The Abbey Theatre, Irish National Opera, Druid Theatre, Chinese State Circus, Junk Ensemble, Rough Magic Theatre Company, Gare St Lazare Ireland, and the Royal Shakespeare Company as well as artists such as Paul Brady, Glen Hansard, Des Bishop, Camille O'Sullivan and many more.
The theatre has been at the heart of Cork City’s cultural life since 1897. Steeped in history, the building is listed and an example of late Victorian architecture. Moreover, the auditorium is a favourite with audiences and performers for its atmosphere and intimacy.
The Everyman Bar offers a relaxed ambience with a great range of locally sourced and artisan beverages.
The Everyman is situated in the heart of the city, in Cork’s vibrant Victorian Quarter, yet within easy access to the N40, N25 and M8 road networks. There is a choice of car parking nearby and the theatre is within walking distance of the two main public transport hubs, Kent Train Station and Parnell Place Bus Station.
