Greystones South Beach is a mix of pebble and sand which follows on from the shingly north beach at the harbour. The beach is easily accessible from the railway station and a car park. A lifeguard service is provided during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.
Dogs are allowed on beach during low season only, but must be on a lead and under strict supervision of the owner. Owners must clean up after their dogs. No dogs are allowed on the beach from May to September.
There are two public toilets at the beach and there is also a children’s playground adjacent to the park. A specially marked designated blue path indicates a way onto the beach for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
