Brittas Bay South Beach in County Wicklow, is a beautiful long sandy beach, 16km from Wicklow Town.

Brittas Bay South Beach is one of the most popular beaches in County Wicklow. It has a 5km stretch of beautiful white sand dunes and has won and maintained its Blue Flag status for many years. The beach here is ideal for bathing, sailing and walking.

The sand dune system if Brittas Bay is a designated area of significant interest, as it is home to many interesting wildlife species and plants.

This beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season.

On site facilities include public toilets and a car park.

Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be on a lead and under the strict supervision of the owner. Owners must clean up after their dogs.
