Bray to Greystones Walk

Please note: This walk is temporarily closed due to landslides. A truly invigorating coastal trail, this picturesque 6.3km cliff walk reveals spectacular panoramas of County Wicklow and the idyllic Eastern coastline.

Taking an achievable 2.5 hours to complete, this Wicklow cliff walk connects the pretty towns of Bray and Greystones by following the captivating coastline.

Starting at the bandstand on Bray Promenade, this route takes walkers up and around Bray Head before following the cliff edges to Greystones Harbour.

A moderate trail, the terrain is mainly footpath with the occasional rougher surface. Ascending 117m over the route, the steepest climb comes on the Bray leg.

Ideal for all ages looking to embrace the salty seascape, this walk showcases some seriously spectacular East coast vistas and expanses of the Irish Sea.

Hungry walkers will have their choice of refreshment in both Bray and Greystones. If tired legs don’t fancy the return walk, there’s always the DART to nip you back to where you started.
