Fergal and Jodie Dempsey are the owners of Wild & Native. Fergal, the chef, carefully chooses the freshest of local produce to serve up masterpieces like blanket sole, whole lobsters, and one of the most popular dishes is simply cooked hake with a lemon and parsley butter.
Jodie is on hand in the restaurant greeting each customer and ready to give on hand advice on food choices and wine pairings.
The restaurant itself boasts a relaxed atmosphere where the delights that have been caught that particular day are served to all the eager customers. Best sellers include the ever so popular crab claws, Wild & Native’s signature surf and turf, scallop and prawn as well as pollo alfreddo, to name but a few.
