Morriscastle Beach, near the picturesque village of Kilmuckridge in County Wexford, is one of the southeast's premier holiday resorts. It is a long and sandy beach ideal for relaxed scenic walks.
Morriscastle Beach has a wealth of secluded coves and a natural bay extending over 5km. Enjoy a walk from Morriscastle to Newtown which passes by the Ballteigue Bog and the Fodagh which is abundant with birdlife.
Access the beach is from the car park, down a wooden sleeper walkway. There are two disabled spaces in the car park, however access to the beach can be difficult due to sand being blown up on to the walkway.
