Located in an idyllic country setting, yet only 3 miles from Athlone Town in County Westmeath, Athlone Equestrian Centre’s first priority is to provide a safe and fun learning experience for both adults and children. Regardless of your riding ability, individual attention and a considered choice of mounts will ensure you get the very best out of your visit.

Facilities at the centre include stables and grass livery for horses or ponies, wonderful trekking for families or groups, and a showjumping arena for hire. Athlone Equestrian Centre runs very popular summer camps and student/teenager summer programmes, and is happy to offer individual, group, and corporate bookings. Pony play classes for small children between the ages of five and eight are also available.

Athlone Equestrian Centre has a derby arena comprising of show jumps and cross-country fences for hiring and schooling. Group and private lessons, as well as birthday packages, are also available.
