The course at Dunmore East Golf Club is set on more than 180 acres and has received wonderful reviews from both golf writers and players alike. Dermot Gilleece of The Irish Times wrote that it was a hidden gem, a very fine course with a truly spectacular finish.
There are nine holes set along the cliff top that overlooks the beautiful coast and a further nine holes are set amongst trees and stunning shrubbery. The course provides a challenging combination of water hazards and natural features. Long par threes and tricky to manage par fours provide a challenge while reachable par fives may allow for reclaiming a shot or two. Open all year round, the course is renowned for its winter playability.
