The unique shell grotto was built and decorated by Catherine Countess of Tyrone in 1754. Take a guided tour of this magical Shell House, followed by a garden visit with access to the estate's formal gardens. All guided tours must be arranged by prior appointment.
The Tea Rooms at Curraghmore House & Gardens are open at weekends only during the high season, or by prior appointment for large groups. Tasty homemade cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee and light refreshments are served here.
