Rebelle Surf is a female owned and run surf school and adventure company based in County Sligo. They teach adults, children, families, groups and corporate teams.

Rebelle Surf offer lessons, camps, private coaching sessions, retreats and workshops for all. The majority of the lessons take place at Strandhill Beach, County Sligo, but they also run sessions at nearby Streedagh and Enniscrone beaches. The lessons can range from straight up surf sessions focussing on pop ups, turning, body position and wave selection to surf lessons with play. They also organise packages combining surf with anything from wellness, yoga, food, massage, seaweed baths and accommodation. Twice weekly they run the highly popular 'Women’s Surf Series'. These sessions are designed specifically to empower women in the surf environment.

Some see surfing as purely a sport but Rebelle Surf sees things a little differently. Melanie the owner, has a background in bodywork and energy practices, which are combined with surfing and have developed into a form of ocean surf therapy she calls ‘Mind Body Surf’ clinics. Rebelle Surf believes that a person’s emotional state, personal beliefs and past experiences can have a direct impact on their ability to surf and this is included subtly as part of every session.

The technical skills they teach include everything from beginner white water sessions to more advanced green wave sessions and cover everything in between. All the instructors are fully qualified and experienced surfers. They will encourage and help you to find your own style and strengths.

All equipment and changing rooms are provided.
