Look out at scenic views of Slieve League, Benbulbin Mountain and the wider Atlantic from the windswept cobbled path that is Easky Pier.
Alongside the sea-soaked promenade that guides all to the edge of the pier stands Roslee Castle. Built in 1207 for Oliver McDonnell, the 63ft stronghold became home to the O'Dowd chieftains of the barony of Tieragh and boasts attractive views of the adjacent piers. Although much of the original structure has been lost over time, the main body of the castle remains, including the highest peak which is nicknamed the Sailor's Bed.
