The Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Festival is a two-day festival event intended to showcase the spectacular Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.
Spanning the County Offaly & Laois border in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, these trails offer over 100km of exciting biking on fast and flowing single tracks. The festival is Ireland’s premier endurance mountain bike event which features the ‘Coillte Biking Blitz’ competition on Saturday and Sunday, plus the ‘Big Bike Movie Night’ and live music on Saturday night.
The ‘Coillte Biking Blitz’ is a mass start cross-country mountain bike event, aimed at beginners but with something for everyone. There are three categories for adults to choose from: Novice, E-Bike or Expert, plus youth events for 6-year-olds and up. All events in the Biking Blitz series must be entered for online in advance. The weekend will be a great outdoor family weekend.
