The Westport Golf Club in County Mayo, is the three time host of the Irish Amateur Close Championship, the Smurfit Irish PGA Championship, and the AIG Cups & Shields All Ireland Finals. It is just a 5 minute drive from Westport Town. The golf course is set in 260 acres of undulating parklands on the shores of Clew Bay with magnificent views of Croagh Patrick.

It is a championship parkland 18-hole golf course, measures 6,980 yards in length and with five par-five holes. It is a demanding track that will test even the longest of hitters off the tee. Fred W. Hawtree redesigned the current course in 1973.

The 19th at Westport Golf Club is made more memorable by the panoramic views on offer of the 9th and 18th holes as well as Croagh Patrick, Clew Bay and Clare Island.
