Now in its 16th year, the Mayo.ie Western People Women's Mini Marathon brings together women of all ages and abilities for the biggest women-only sporting event in the West of Ireland. An initiative of Mayo Sports Partnership, designed to increase participation in sport, the West of Ireland Women's Mini-Marathon has grown to become one of the biggest events of its kind in Ireland. Over the past ten years almost 40,000 participants, including almost 10,000 children, have taken part in the event.

The Mini-Marathon has a low entry fee, with special events for teenage girls and children to ensure a great family day out!
