A fabulous week of local Traditional Music, song, dance and storytelling: music in the pubs, on the Gig Rig in the Square, on the streets, with an Oíche Gaelach, a Rambling House night and concerts featuring Billow Wood, Seoda, Trad West and more, in Ballina on the Moy, along the Wild Atlantic Way
The Mayo Comhaltas, in collaboration with Áirc Mayo and Autism Ballina will host the Cuimsiú Fleadh Competition for musicians with additional needs.
A key theme of the festival will be the rich Mayo – Leeds Cultural Connections which will feature in an exhibition in the Jackie Clarke Collection. The exhibition will also highlight the Bofield to Battery Park Story, the opening of the Hunger Museum in Manhattan in 2002, by President Mary McAleese.
