Clare Island, Louisburgh is a sandy, rural beach located on an island off the coast of Mayo in the west of Ireland. Visitors can visit the island by taking the ferry from Roonagh Pier.

Clare Island, Louisburgh Beach in County Mayo is located very near Roonagh Pier. All boats arriving to the island must berth at this pier. Roonagh Pier is approx 6 miles from Louisburgh and 18 miles form Westport.

Clare Island has a small population of approx 250 people. Lifeguards are not on duty during the summer bathing season but lifebuoys are provided on the beach.
