Each tapestry is a testament to the threads that bind us together as humans regardless of borders or politics. The repetitive gestures of weaving – gathering, crossing, binding – mirror our shared human experiences of grief, resilience, and the search for meaning amidst destruction. The exhibition will feature large-scale tapestries that respond to the emotional weight of witnessing distant suffering. These story cloths stand as both elegy and affirmation – acknowledging devastating loss while insisting on our shared humanity.
