Exhibition: Threads of Witness by Frances Crowe
Dundalk, Co. Louth
19 June - 26 July 2025
Free to visit
Through the ancient dialogue between warp and weft, Frances’ work seeks to capture the emotional essence of the humanitarian crisis. Each tapestry is a testament to the threads that bind us together as humans regardless of borders or politics.

Opening Launch: 18th June 7pm

Through the ancient dialogue between warp and weft, Frances’ work seeks to capture the emotional essence of the humanitarian crisis. Each tapestry is a testament to the threads that bind us together as humans regardless of borders or politics. The repetitive gestures of weaving – gathering, crossing, binding – mirror our shared human experiences of grief, resilience, and the search for meaning amidst destruction. The exhibition will feature large-scale tapestries that respond to the emotional weight of witnessing distant suffering. These story cloths stand as both elegy and affirmation – acknowledging devastating loss while insisting on our shared humanity.

No booking required. Tue - Sat 10am - 4pm
