Exhibition: Identity – A Scope of Liminality

In the present exhibition, Carlos Navarro explores liminality in art, where it becomes a reflection of the contemporary identity crisis.

In a society where traditional values are fading and uncertainty prevails, his works emerge as a search for lost individuality and authenticity. Navarro merges traditional portraits and geometric elements with precise brushstrokes to deconstruct the human face, questioning the commodification of the individual. His abstract and geometric portraits represent the complexity of the modern being, inviting the viewer to reflect on the artificiality of identities imposed by society and current technologies.
