Join artist Úna Curley for a unique, hands-on workshop celebrating Irish heritage and craftsmanship. Learn the traditional art of handweaving a crios belt often used at weddings.

Under Úna’s expert guidance, you’ll explore the history and techniques behind this ancient craft, using vibrant threads to create your very own wearable masterpiece. Perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike, this workshop is a wonderful way to connect with Irish traditions while developing new skills in a friendly and creative atmosphere.

This is an off-site event and takes place in our second space at Bó Studios, No6 Jocelyn Street.

An Táin Arts Centre is based in the former Táin Theatre, Town Hall, Crowe Street, Dundalk, County Louth. The venue hosts local, national and international performances of theatre, opera, music and comedy and is also a visual arts gallery, with two workshop spaces.
