Carlingford Heritage Centre in Carlingford, County Louth, tells the story of Carlingford from the time of the Vikings, circa 850AD, through the Norman and medieval eras to the present day. The historical exhibition is embellished with maps, drawings, illustrations, a beautiful wall mural, photographs and a DVD presentation for all to enjoy.
Still retaining its original function as a place of assembly, Carlingford Heritage Centre is the perfect venue for concerts, lectures, meetings, weddings and small drama productions with a seating capacity for 150 visitors. Full projection and audio facilities are also available. It is an ideal location for seminars, weekend workshops and conferences.
From here, drive towards Omeath to the outdoor Stations of the Cross, take a seat and gaze out over Carlingford Lough.
