With Electric Bike Trails, County Leitrim, take a leisurely cycle on the Shannon Blueway, a traffic free 20km round trip along the tranquil Lough Allen Canal with views of the River Shannon and experience the 600m floating boardwalk at Acres Lake.

In addition, there is an 11km round trip on the Shannon Blueway from Leitrim Village to Kilclare. You can enjoy up to 30km of traffic free cycling in the unspoiled countryside with a selection of cafe's, sweet treats and lunch options along the way. Electric Bike Trails staff will do their best to set you off on your cycle with all the information you need for a great cycling experience.

Alternatively, cycle around the 8km woodland trail in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, County Roscommon, where Electric Bike Trails have a bike hire base operational during the summer months.

They have a full range of regular bikes and, if an active cycle is not your thing, you can take it really easy on an electric bike, for adults and over 16's only. You just do the pedalling and let the battery assist get you over the hills with ease.

They have kid's bikes, child carts and seats so all the family can enjoy the countryside together. They also have back up transport available when needed to get you back to base.

All Covid-19 precautions are in place and compliant with the Fáilte Ireland Safety Charter.
