Join Kildare Bat Group for a unique event this Heritage Week at the Irish National Stud & Gardens, from 10am - 12pm on Monday 18th August! Learn about bat habitats, how they are affected by their environment, light and sound, and much more.
This National Heritage Week, join Anna and other members of Kildare Bat Group to take part in a Bat & Science Workshop on 18th August with mini talks, demonstrations and presentations all about bats and their habitats, which the kids can see right here at the Stud. These are interactive workshops for small groups, ideal for kids aged 8 - 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult, with max two children per adult.
Tickets are free, and do not grant access to the Irish National Stud & Gardens before or after the event - general admission can be bought separately. The event runs from 10am - 12pm with a range of activities to take part in and learn all about bats!
