Open all year round, the award winning Bridge Bar in Portmagee, County Kerry, is the perfect place to experience true village life. Great food, great atmosphere and great craic with regular traditional music and set dancing sessions.

Open all year round, in Portmagee, County Kerry, The Bridge Bar’s award winning food complements the standards of excellence found in the Moorings Restaurant and Guesthouse next door, serving the best bar food in the locality to hungry visitors everyday.

Breakfast is served from 9am for the intrepid visitors set for a day out on the Skellig Islands where the Star Wars Movie, The Force Awakens was filmed. Lunch/dinner is served from 12 noon with a full bar menu and daily local specials. You can even pour a pint of Guinness like Mark Hamill did right in this very bar. All produce is sourced from local suppliers and the fish, landed daily on the village pier, does not get any fresher.

Traditional Irish music is at the heart of the craic in the pub. There is traditional Irish music and set dancing every Friday, traditional music sessions on Sunday nights and a traditional Irish night on Tuesdays in July and August. The open fire and cosy décor create a warm and inviting atmosphere and the welcome is second to none.
