Stephen Power has a strong photographic tutoring background, having been a photographer for 40 years, he holds an MA in Education, and wrote for CameraCraft Magazine for 10 years. Newspapers, magazines, books, travel guides, brochures, websites, calendars and advertising promotions are just some of Stephen's high profile clients.
Based in County Kerry, Stephen's Skellig Ring Photography Workshops offers half day and full day workshops. Each workshop is tailor made to suit your needs and current level of skill.
Individuals and small groups are welcome. You are only taught what you need to learn, and this will be discussed with you in advance so that the workshop is facilitated to suit your needs and experience as a photographer.
Whether you use digital or film cameras, Stephen is happy to share his extensive knowledge and tools of the trade with you. Tuition can include a theory segment about using digital imaging software, such as Adobe Lightroom. Photographers using film cameras can also avail of Stephen's darkroom for instruction on developing film.
The local landscape of the Wild Atlantic Way coastline offers photographers plenty of opportunities to test their skills. The nearby Skellig Islands, the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve, Geokaun Mountain and Fogher Cliffs are are just some of the inspirational sights and locations that can be captured through your lens.
