Golf Chumann Ceann Sibéal, near Ballyferriter village and 14km from Dingle in County Kerry, is nestled in a stunning green valley between the majestic hill of Cruach Mharthain to the south and a ridge of jagged peaks to the north.

Golf Chumann Ceann Sibéal was founded in 1924 as Dingle Golf Club, and is scenically positioned on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. To the east, Cuan Ard na Caithne caresses a two mile long stretch of white sandy beach called Beal Ban and Mount Brandon. To the west, the mighty Atlantic is faced off by high rocky cliffs, punctuated with tiny coves and beaches just right for smuggling.

At 6737 yards, 18-hole Par 72, it is one of the traditional links courses. The club had two temporary homes on the outskirts of Dingle before developing a 9-hole golf course at Ballyoughtra (Ceann Sibeal) in the early 1970s. The original design was by Eddie Hackett. The back nine was developed in the 1980s and the clubhouse in the 1990s. Christy O'Connor Junior also did some redesigning in the 1990s.

Each hole is full of tricky undulations, swales and hazards laid down long before the game of golf was dreamed of, including a winding burn that twists and turns through the entire course. The signature hole is called Ifreann, or Hell in English.

As much a part of the experience at Dingle as the golf course, the clubhouse has a life all of its own. It resounds with the camaraderie of friends and locals, enjoying wonderful food and atmosphere in relaxed and casual surroundings. Upstairs you'll find a lively club bar and dining room with wonderful views over the Links. The menu is seasonal, and created from fresh local ingredients supplied locally from both farm and sea.

At Golf Chumann Ceann Sibéal, there is ample parking available, and a full hire service for clubs, buggies and carts. The pro shop is fully stocked with leading brands and branded merchandise.
