Walk out to Dunquin Pier in County Kerry and enjoy panoramic views of mountain ranges, cliffs and the expanse of the ocean.
Situated on the northern end of small, secluded bay surrounded by craggy cliffs, Dunquin Pier is easily accessible via a beautiful, meandering walkway that often pops up on Irish souvenir postcards.
Once you've taken in the stunning natural landscape from the pier, hop on one of the seasonal ferries for a visit to the breathtaking Blasket Islands. Here, uncover cottage ruins of past islanders and marvel at the sight of dolphins and whales pouncing out of the water.
If you arrive by car, there's a small section of off-road parking, plus an abundance of verge parking along the road to the harbour.
