Head to Turoe Pet Farm, just outside Loughrea in County Galway for a fun-filled family day out with animals and playgrounds.

Watch birds fly in the aviary before making new furry friends in the pet's corner. Take a walk on the outdoor trails and see pigs, ponies, donkeys and goats playing in the fields.

Kids will love playing in the two outdoor playgrounds with fun slides and swings. Inside, there are two fantastic play facilities. The inflatable play area has giant slides and bouncy floors, while the soft play area has ball pits, a maze, obstacles and twisty slides.

Turoe Pet Farm run wonderful family-friendly events throughout the year celebrating Halloween, Christmas and Easter.

Why we like it
  • Pet small furry animals in the pets corner.
  • See ponies, pigs, donkeys and goats in the fields.
  • Bounce around on an inflatable play area.
  • Play in a large soft play area with slides and ball pits.
Tips from locals

Turoe Pet Farm is so named after the 2,000 year old Turoe Stone. The nearby decorative stone is an excellent example of La Tène art ritual stone.
