Killary Fjord Shellfish Food Truck is located on the WAW on Killary Harbour. We specialise in the freshest local cooked mussels and clams, shucked oysters and local smoked salmon. Wholesome healthy street food.

The Mussel Farm

Killary Fjord Shellfish mussel farm run by Simon and Kate is located on the magnificent Killary Harbour, Ireland's only fjord. It is here in the crystal clear water that they have been growing and harvesting mussels for the past 25 years to local restaurants and for export. Their depuration centre is located in a refurbished boat house situated on the shores of the Fjord. Here at the waters edge they depurate, grade, clean and debysse their mussels. This unrivalled proximity to the Fjord means that their mussels have to be the finest freshest mussels available.

The Food Truck

Killary Fjord Shellfish now sell their mussels on the Wild Atlantic Way on Killary Harbour from their food truck. Freshly cooked mussels and clams, briny Ballinakil oysters and locally smoked salmon are available to eat as you take in the spectacular views of the Harbour.

The Mussel Farm Tour

See them in action on the mussel farm. On occasion and by appointment they run guided tours of the mussel farm where you get to experience first hand the daily routine of mussel farming.
