Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and slow down with our festive calligraphy workshop, where you'll discover the art of beautiful lettering.
Mellor & Rose, a family of women lettering artists will be hosting two festive workshops on Saturday, December 12th at the National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street from 11:00 – 12:30 or 14:00 – 15:30.
This festive beginner-friendly class will introduce you to the core fundamentals of modern calligraphy, including how to hold and use a dip pen, create pressure strokes, develop rhythm and flow, and form letters in a script alphabet. Once you've mastered the basics, you'll move on to creating festive words and phrases, decorative illustrations, and seasonal designs to compliment your Calligraphy.
