Wild Ireland in County Donegal is a wildlife sanctuary for rescued animals. Visitors can step back in time to an ancient woodland, inhabited by brown bears, wolves, lynx and wild boar.

Set in an ancient Celtic rainforest, Wild Ireland is a wildlife sanctuary where nature, history and conservation come to life. Located on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, just a short drive from Derry City and Greencastle Port, it is an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the magic of the rainforest, coming face to face with animals that once roamed freely in Ireland, such as bears, wolves, lynx and many other species. Each resident has a story, where they came from, how they were rescued and when their species disappeared from the island. Conservation is at the heart of everything at Wild Ireland. By visiting, guest directly support the rescue and conservation efforts. It’s a wild day out for the whole family.
