Located overlooking Sheephaven Bay and Horn Head, the Cove Restaurant, Port na Blagh, County Donegal, has a tapas style menu combining local produce with flavours from around the globe.
The Cove Restaurant, Port na Blagh, was opened over 20 years ago by husband and wife team, Peter Byrne and Siobhan Sweeney. The menu is inspired by their travel experiences and a fascination with Mediterranean and eastern culinary traditions, which brings a twist to their locally grown, caught or farmed produce.
The restaurant is housed in an historic building, dating back to 1880, which once formed part of the coastguard station. They are serious about food, about supporting artisan producers and about promoting sustainability.
