Owenahincha, Little Island Strand in County Cork, is an exposed sandy beach and dune system. The sea can be quite rough here at times providing ideal surfing conditions. This is a regular surfing beach and is also frequented by kite surfers. The beach is for advanced surfers and is not suitable for beginners. Owenahincha, Little Island Strand is a popular holiday destination with camping and caravan facilities nearby.
Public car parking and public toilet facilities are provided at the beach. Lifeguards are on duty during the bathing season. Lifeguard times are posted on the information noticeboard at the beach.
Take the pleasant cliff edge walk from the Warren Strand and Owenahincha, Little Island Strand.
