Leahy's Open Farm is a favourite stop for families in the beautiful East Cork countryside, around 4km from the village of Dungourney. Experience its fun farm, chocolate and ice cream factory, playground and the museum that shows all aspects of rural life.

At Leahy's Open Farm you will find a wide range of animals including alpacas, donkeys, a snake, sheep, goats and horses. Petting time goes on throughout the day, where children and adults will enjoy the chance to meet all the different animals the Leahy family has on the farm.

Your entry ticket includes a spin through Cnoc a Ceo woods on the quad and barrel train. The more adventurous can purchase tickets to operate a real digger in the digger park. The farm also has a playground, adventure trail, crazy golf, go carts, a mystery maze, antique farm equipment and a museum of farm life.

Stop into the Old Lantern coffee shop for a bite to eat, and then make your way down to the Chocolate and Ice Cream Factory to watch some of their delicious creations being made.

Aside from regular visits to the farm, popular special events are held at Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

Leahy's Open Farm also caters for birthday, communion or confirmation celebrations, and they organise group events like ecology walks, guided tours and more.
