Free guided meditations suitable for beginners are offered daily. Meditation every day from 09:00-09:45, Loving Kindness Monday to Friday from 15:00-16:00. Chairs are provided. Self-catering accommodation includes secluded cliff top cottages, ensuite private rooms with ocean view conservatories, breakfast included, and Garranes Farmhouse Hostel.
Dzogchen Beara holds a year round programme of public retreats based on the wisdom and compassion of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Most events are suitable for beginners and include visits by world renowned teachers and authors and a variety of meditation retreats led by experienced western practitioners.
Work has begun at Dzogchen Beara to build the first Buddhist temple in Ireland. The temple project is intended to offer a purpose built space for retreats and seminars based on a traditional design.
