Bens Surf Clinic is based on the sea front in Lahinch, on the Wild Atlantic Way, a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher. Established in 2007, Bens has a surf school, surf shop and an adventure centre on site.
Choose from a full range of soft and hard boards for lessons and rental. The lessons give you two hours in the water, with coaching throughout. All equipment is provided. Try a single session tailored for beginner, intermediate and advanced participants. Other options include weekend or week long courses and camps for adults, kids and teens.
All the instructors are level 2/3 ISA surf coaches, with a passion for the sport. The founder Ben, with his three decades of experience, is one of only three International Surf Association level 1 coaches in Ireland.
Bens Surf Clinic also offers other activities such as rock climbing in the Burren, kayak trips on the River Inagh, indoor climbing, archery and stand up paddle boarding. The surf school has changing facilities with lockers, hot showers and indoor coaching areas.
You will find premium surfing accessories, wetsuits and gift vouchers in their online surf shop. The Lahinch shop stocks hundreds of items.
