Valentia Island Caravan & Camping is a new family run Park, situated on the Wild Atlantic Way route and within walking distance from the picturesque village of Knightstown.

We are the closest Caravan & Camping Park to Portmagee (seven kilometers), the main departure point for boat tours to Skellig Michael.

The Park caters for motorhomes, touring vans, camper vans, hikers, cyclists and bikers. The high quality facilities building is equipped with ladies and gents showers and toilets, disabled showers and toilets, baby change area, chemical toilet, laundry room, campers kitchen, games room, reception and play area.

Guests are required to check in at reception on arrival.

Valentia park offers facilities of the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and hygiene. The entrance to the park is tarmac. Each of the twenty six hardstands has electric and water points for motorhomes, campervans and caravans.

The Park has a separate dedicated camping area which can cater for approximately twenty tent pitches.

Valentia Camping provide on-site information and a booking service for local amenities.

The facilities building has a well equipped campers kitchen with electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and essential kitchenware.

The games room is equipped with a pool table, books and board games for all ages.

Free WiFi is available throughout the park.

While pets are allowed on site, all dogs must be kept on a short lead and under control at all times.

The Park is nestled in quiet surroundings, just four hundred metres from Knightstown village. It is located on the Skellig Ring and just three kilometers off the Ring of Kerry, making it a perfect base for exploring the Islands natural beauty and enjoy a unique holiday experience.

The picturesque village offers superb views of Valentia Harbour, Beginish Island and the mainland. Knightstown is the departure point for a variety of boat trips and fishing trips. It also boasts many activities and attractions within walking distance of the Park.
