Situated in the village of Glenbeigh, County Kerry, the Towers Hotel was built in 1895 in the late Victorian style. Today, many of its original architectural details remain such as sash windows, wooden window panels and decorative plaster cornicing.
Over the years many famous faces have passed through the doors, including Edna O’Brien, Charlie Chaplin and Lester Peterson.
The hotel offers both standard rooms and superior gardensuites, which have views of Rossbeigh Beach. All are beautifully appointed with ensuite bathroom, TV, telephone, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and tea/coffee facilities.
No stay at the Towers Hotel is complete without a dinner at the internationally acclaimed Curra Restaurant, where guests dine surrounded by lovely art and the sounds of live music. The cuisine combines tradition and innovation, all the while using locally sourced products and ingredients. For a casual drink or bite to eat, there’s also the Old Bar, a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
