Hidden Valley Holiday Park is a serene haven of relaxation located in Rathdrum, County Wicklow. Set in a beautiful valley with sites overlooking the tranquil waters of the Avonmore River and a glassy, private lake, Hidden Valley offers the opportunity to experience a holiday amidst an abundance of wildlife, including kingfishers, cranes, wild geese, ducks, otters and pheasant. The family owned park is easily accessible from Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare ferry ports.
Hidden Valley provides fully serviced pitches with electric, water and waste disposal on each individual site. The new modern toilet and shower block is heated and tiled, and includes a laundry room and camper’s kitchen overlooking the Avonmore River. Accommodations for hire include self-catering log cabins and a variety of glamping lodges. Splash Valley Aqua Park is located on site and the Lake House restaurant overlooks the lake. There is also a takeaway on site.
Visitors can enjoy a range of on-site activities while at Hidden Valley such as, kayaking, pedal boats, rock climbing wall, water balls, bungee trampolines, combat laser tag, adventure mini golf, bumper boats, playgrounds, football pitch, fishing, cinema nights and the new aqua park. The park also offers a variety of other activities such as bingo, arts and crafts, dance camp during high season.
Rathdrum, a ten minute walk, has old style pubs, music, restaurants, takeaways and shops. Train and bus services to Dublin are within walking distance. Located next to the Wicklow Mountains and Clara Vale National Park, both offering numerous walks/trails. Local attractions include Glendalough, Mount Usher Gardens, Powerscourt, Clara Lara Funpark, Wicklow Gap, Wicklow Way, Greenan Museum and Maze, Avondale House, Brittas Bay, Avoca and many more.
