Galway Potters Market in 2020 is an annual event and a vibrant art market comprising up to 30 studio potters and ceramic artists displaying and selling their own work. Ceramics on display will include hand thrown pottery, sculptural work, slip ware, woodfired pottery and much more.

Come along and meet potters and ceramic artists in person, purchase contemporary pottery directly from the makers and spend time watching pottery throwing demonstrations or take part in free clay workshops! The market will be held in Spanish Arch, in the hub of Galway city. The Market will take place in a particularly important year; in 2020, Galway is European Capital of Culture and the 10th anniversary of this market so this promises to be a wonderful event.
