Burren is a warm, welcoming family home located on the outskirts of Knock village, reached by the regional road R323 West, which lies off the national route N17.
This bungalow style house has all rooms on the ground floor. The accommodation is made up of one double room, one twin room and two rooms with a double and single bed. All bedrooms have a private shower and toilet, TV, electric blankets and hairdryer. Burren has a guest TV lounge with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary home cooking. There are spacious gardens for visitors to use. There is off street parking.
Burren is less than 1 mile from the popular tourist attraction known as Knock Shrine, which has 80 acres of landscaped grounds to be enjoyed, and extensive parking areas. There is a folk museum located on the Shrine complex, which has received many awards.
Burren is convenient to Knock Airport and, being located in the heart of the West, it is an ideal base for touring the West of Ireland with its' many attractions e.g. Foxford Woollen Mills, Ashford Castle and Gardens, Cong, Ballintubber Abbey, Croagh Patrick mountain, and Ceide fields.
Within a 10/12 mile radius, leisure activities include angling, golf, horse riding, swimming and a gymnasium.
Burren is open from 1st June to 30th September.
